Palak Paneer

So glad you’ll be joining us as we show you the tips and tricks behind making the our favorite veggie dish, Palak Paneer.

Palak Paneer is a Pakistani/Indian spiced spinach with homemade fresh cheese. We will walk you through both how to make the paneer (cheese) from scratch with simple ingredients found in most homes. And then with some of our favorite fair trade spices, we’ll marry the spinach and the cheese together for a dish perfect to serve on its own or as a holiday side.

This month we’ll be cooking from a special kitchen in Edmonton, Alberta, where we will be visiting our fair trade friends at Village Goods, the year-round home for Bunyaad rugs in Canada.

Need any of the spices for this Cooking with Bunyaad time? We have them all in our downtown Lititz store or online! If you’ve never cooked with fair trade Burlap & Barrel Single Origin spices, you’re in for a real treat!

Cook along or just watch as we weave stories of rugs, Pakistani artisans & fair trade into our cooking. Now that we’re traveling more with work, Cooking with Bunyaad is held once a month, usually on a Sunday. Please join our mailing list to get notifications of our free, online cooking times.
