Bunyaad’s Famous Fair Trade Hot Fudge Sauce
So you like hot fudge? So do we! And we find it’s even tastier made with fair trade chocolate because we know that fair trade chocolate has all the sweetness and none of the bitter aftertaste for farmers around the world.
1 stick butter (1/4 pound)
1 cup Fair Trade Cocoa Powder
1 cup heavy cream
1 cup Fair Trade Sugar
In a heavy-bottom saucepan, heat butter and cream on medium. Add cocoa powder and sugar. Stir constantly with a whisk over medium heat. Mixture will slowly thicken. Bring to a soft boil. Turn off heat and whisk for about 2-3 minutes until smooth. Serve immediately or store in a glass jar until you are ready to use. Reheat either on the stovetop or in the microwave on medium power.
Makes a bit over one pint of hot fudge. But get ready to make more! It won’t last long!

We enjoyed a great time in Pakistan. Everywhere we went we met friendly, helpful and incredibly hospitable people. It seemed like everyone wanted to shake our hands and give us a hug. On Sunday afternoon, while touring the old Lahore Fort, a number of people wanted their pictures taken with us. Contrary to what we hear and read in the media about Pakistan, it’s a great place to travel – safe, friendly, hospitable and very scenic.
