Two cups of kashmiri chai with nankhatai biscuits and spices

Come learn the history and importance of hand knotted rugs
while sipping two types of Pakistani chai

Spend an evening learning the history & importance of hand knotted rugs all while learning how two types of chai are made. A special one-on-one time with Bunyaad director Yousaf Chaman as part of our Annual Rug Sale celebration.

From January 23 to February 23, our entire collection of fair trade, hand knotted rugs are 10-40% off. This winter sale was always part of our annual tradition for nearly four decades when we were the Bunyaad Rug Room at Ten Thousand Villages and we’re thrilled to restart this tradition now that we’re in downtown Lititz!

Tea time is an integral part of every Pakistani workplace & household. Tea is always served piping hot and drunk while piping hot. Biscuits of some form always adorn the side of your cup. There are many different forms of chai but one of the most special is the pink Kashmiri chai, either served slightly salty or sweet depending on your taste and topped with crushed nuts. Enjoy Kashmiri chai and one other special chai as part of this special evening.

Seating is limited so that the chai can be free flowing. 🙂
