Cooking with Bunyaad – Lahori Channay
Join our LIVE online Cooking class and afternoon party as we show you the tips and tricks behind the
classic Pakistani street food Lahori Channay with fresh roti.
We will be “traveling” to Pakistan with Bunyaad director & creative culinary guy Yousaf Chaman.
Born in Lahore, Pakistan, Yousaf spent his childhood enjoying Lahori channay as an energy-filled after-school snack from local street vendors, for breakfasts with a fried egg and for dinners with fresh roti.
No matter what time of the day you eat this dish, it’s always packed with flavor and energy. Lahori Channay is traditionally made without meat but it’s easy to add some additional protein as desired.
Cook along or just watch as we weave stories of rugs, Pakistani artisans & fair trade into our cooking.
